Femminilità Natura e Arte … Delle mostre mi piace il confronto, il dover mettere a nudo le mie capacità e i miei pensieri. Oggi credo che sia molto difficile creare mostre che possano diventare significative e forse è meglio creare degli eventi che possano esprimersi a più mani e con diverse tecniche, voglio dire delle collettive miste ispirate all’arte, anche se questo risulta non facile. Strettamente fotografiche e personali non mi entusiasmano. Le mostre sono l’espressione massima delle ricerche personali, sono il confronto tra ciò che hai appreso e ciò che abbandoni, sono per me l’espressione libera e lontana dai condizionamenti di mercato, dalle mostre non mi aspetto mai un risultato immediato, anzi lo disdegno. Uno dei miei privilegi nei confronti della fotografia piuttosto che in altre arti è il suo aspetto di riproducibilià, che la rende estremamente democratica, ma i collezionisti non amano questo, amano l’unicità e l’esclusività di un opera, così questa diventa più preziosa, di conseguenza più cara. Invece le mostre sono e rappresentano il mio spazio libero che conservo con il duro lavoro commerciale quotidiano, un giorno forse non sarà più così e allora se ne riparlerà…

…About exhibitions I like the comparison, the laying bare of my abilities and my thoughts. Today I believe that it’s very difficult to create exhibitions that can become meaningful and perhaps it’s better to create some events that can be expressed through many hands and with different techniques ( I mean the collective mixed inspired by Art) even if it’s not that easy. In my opinion those tightly photographic and personal are not so exciting. Exhibitions are the maximum expression of the personal searches, the comparison among what you learned and what you abandoned, they are for me the free and distant expression of the market conditioning, I never expect an immediate result from exhibitions, rather I disdain it. One of my privileges towards photography rather than in other Arts it’s its aspect of reproducibility, that makes it extremely democratic. But collectors doesn’t love this; they love unicity and exclusiveness of an opera, so it becomes more precious, consequently more onerous too. Exhibitions, instead, are and represents my free space, that I preserve with the hard daily commercial work. Maybe one day it will be different and we will talk about it again..
